When I went through their linens, I found many odds and ends sheets and pillowcases that were mismatched, but still in great condition. I considered selling them or donating them to the Salvation Army until I found out about this interesting charity project. It's called Little Dresses for Africa. This project involves using pillowcases (and sheets) to make little dresses and shorts for children in Africa. I found several churches in my area that have taken up this endeavor as a charity project. The church I selected gladly accepted my bags of linens, which they would use to create childrens garments. Keep this great charity in mind if you have usable linens to dispose of. There may be a group in your area that is participating in the project and would accept donations.
